Thought I'd share some good news about Sprints GPS

So apparently, sprints GPS hasn't been working for a while and they never tried fixing the problem. I know that my HTC EVO's GPS wasn't working since OCT.

So I've been calling every other week telling them my problem, getting replacement phones and I continuously had the same problem, GPS wouldn't locate me.

Yesterday I finally had some success. I called and told them of my situation, and they said because of my call sprint will now look into the GPS problem... I guess other ppl had the same issue, but it was my call that finally made them do something about it!

Glad I was able to get sprint to begin working on a huge problem in their network.

well I wouldn't say their gps has not been working......mine works just fine, always has....but, there has been an issue lately w/ location in Sense & weather.

good to see they're looking into it....

I havent had any problems with my EVO's GPS since launch day.

Sorry but it wasnt just your call that "made" them look into the issue. The CSR was just blowing smoke up your ..... to make you feel better about the issue.

Lol probably, but I know a lot of other people that are having the same issue, and its been going on for a while. Even if they were making it up, its the first time they said sprint was working on the issue.

I have only had one problem with gps. And it is a recurring event. Travel long distances and using sprint nav while crossing time zones. The clock moves back (or forward an hour) depending on which way I'm going, then after a few hundred miles, the clock moves back an hour. I have to restart phone, to get time to adjust, then start nav again, and then the clock will jump time again. been going on for last couple months. Sense weather and weather bug update as i travel, just the clock that glitches.

Odd. My Sprint GPS has been working fine on both my Wife, and my phones since we changed to sprint almost 18 months ago. I picked up an evo about a month ago and I have never had GPS problems with it either. I have always thought it worked superbly better than the aGPS I had with Verizon.
