Sprint 3g major issues in west texas
 

Ive been having major issues on sprint 3g for the past a week 5 days and. I have like 4 tickets open on tech support and they just want me to cancle my service like sir just cancle it and im like lady this issue started almost 2 weeks ago fix it or credit me more and they wont fix it or credit me im going slower the 1x and i use to get 2.5 mps down and 600 kb up any one else having this issue?

I'm in southeast Texas (Texas City) and I have the same slow data problem as you. I used to get on avg. 1 to 1.7mbps down but it's been .20mbps down since November. I have called sprint many times and have put in tickets, etc. Nothing has changed and they never call me back with status updates. (The reason I suspect shady tactics with Sprint) It's embarrassing... slower than Cricket Wireless and T-Mobile!!!! Plus I am paying $10 per month extra (plus taxes) for two EVO's! This is pathetic!

Sprint gives me the runaround and claims they don't have any record of tower outages etc, but SOMETHING is going on that's for sure! I expect Sprint is throttling the shit out of 3g and even 4G data now. It's funny.. I was just about to call sprint AGAIN when I come upon your thread. I'm calling them as soon as I finish this post. I'm to the point I want to cancel both my Sprint phone lines and find a carrier who's 3G data actually works here where I live. (but only Sprint has true unlimited data plans)

I'm in a good coverage area by the way. I am in between two towers apx 1 mile from either tower. I call BS, Sprint is throttling because my data used to work decent. Now i can't watch Youtube, Sprint TV or stream music!

Bottom line... Sprint 3G data speeds suck now days!!! At least where I live.

Everything is bigger in Texas (including Sprint network problems)!

Southwest Louisiana is even worse. 1X with no promise of EVDO anytime. When I get a chance I'll post speedtest results screenshots, just did one and I got 0.9 down, 124.1 up and that's the best I've seen in awhile...
