Sprint Asurion replacement

So what can a Sprint PPC-6800 get replaced with right now and what will it cost me?

My phone may have been dropped one to many times, it reboots randomly and battery life is barely 5 hours of usage and every time it tries to update the PRL it fails miserably.

I don't want to renew my contract yet because I am not greatly impressed with the phone lineup Sprint has right now and a 2 year commitment is just to long to be stuck with a non "perfect" phone for me. Knowing my luck though one will come out in January but I can't take the Mogul anymore. If it's $100 or less, it might be time to file a claim...

Is there a lifetime maximum of replacement phones? I've only used the service once in 6 years and I know there is a 2 claim a year limit, but is there a max you can hit?

TIA...

If he has insurance then a replacement for his 6800 is free. No reason to pay.

Any phone that breaks not because of physical damage is replaced free from carriers if you have insurance with the extended warranty which is what most people have.
