intercept question
I recently upgraded to the evo, and my buddy has verizon. Is there any way that he can activate this phone on his account? I heard that verizon had an open device policy, but when we called them, they were unwilling to discuss the terms of it. You guys have any special magical super secret verizon phone numbers that you could give me, so i can get a hold of someone that can do this, or is this effort futile? Thanks in advanced!

Re: intercept question

Re: intercept question
I think the OP was asking if his Old Intercept could be activated on his buddys VZW account.
The answer is prolly no. VZW's open network was set aside for the 800mhz spectrum they bought, but it really hasnt fleshed out yet. They promised that any manufacturer could build and sell a device themselves and it could be added on their network without having to be bought from VZW. Its sad to see they havent done much with it yet. |
Re: intercept question
$500 bucks and ill do it..... of course youd need to live near enough for me to touch the phone...
any cdma device can be put on any cdma carrier and is such for gsm... but yeah, its like Courtney said. |
