Alltel to ATT switch

Anyone know what the proposed timetable is for each region for the ATT takeover of Alltel? I cannot seem to find any information yet on the changeover, other than it finally has been aproved.

they arent buying out! verizon wouldnt get bought out by ATT cause verizon is the largest in the nation and why would they attack eachother if they owned eachother... they are just talking about agreements with tower use and such. like this sentence states:

The transaction enhances AT&T’s wireless network coverage primarily in rural areas in 79 service areas

And I thought the statement"...your Alltel service is being transitioned to AT&T..." meant that I will be making my payments to AT&T in the near future instead of Alltel. Verizon bought Alltel, but was forced to sell off some the acquired property to another wireless carrier because of the potential monopoly in some areas. Here is another link and another one

that could be but not sure to tell the truth.... and its not there fault that att has shitty coverage and if they sell them off than that company is going to have a monopoly in the area... and gsm towers and cdma towers are different technologies so i dont see how that is going to work
