sprint requires plan upgrade?!?!
I looked at upgrading to the hero. Sprint told me that my data plan won't work. I have to have the everything plan.
Can some one tell me if this is just marketing or is there something to it? I currently have ppc6800 with a unlimited data plan added to my 700 minute share plan. I want the hero, but don't want to go from a $80/mo plan to a $129/mo plan. Thanks |
Re: sprint requires plan upgrade?!?!
they are correct. the data plan you have is not an everything data plan. it is a basic web access plan. you need an actually everything data plan for the hero. one that actually includes everything like web, sprint tv, nfl, nascar, and Sprint navigation.
its just how it is. but its still less expensive then other companies. |

Also, this is not news.

I'm in the same situation. According to a Sprint supervisor, the system won't let them activate an Android phone on the legacy plan. I'm looking at about $40 more if I do that.

Moved to Carrier Discussion
OP, why would you have to go to a plan that is $129.99? Why can't you use the $69.99 Everything 450 (or 400, I forget whatcha get) plan? |
