Google Voice + Verizon + Faves + International?
 

Didnt know where else to ask this question.

Im going out of the country for a few months. I have google voice and that number is on my Faves so any GV calls are free for me.
My question is, if i go international, if someone calls my google voice, will the call be free?

No outgoing gv numbers even on your favs are not free internationally. That is only for the USA. You will have to pay for ALL calls if you are international unless you switch to an international plan. A good place for this topic would be carrier discussion

ok, can we get a mod to move it to carrier discussion?

also, what are my best options? can i get google voice to work with an international provider?

Simply set up in GV the new number (from your intl sim) and should be back in buisness...

I called verizon, they said number in faves dont apply aboad. only on us soil. faves will pay the regular $1.99 per min fee for international roaming calls

Exactly what I said. You can get a unlimited international calls and data package for about 60 dollars a month which you can prorate for the time you are abroad.
