SERO - International Data

I'd hate to ask a Sprint rep because I don't want a headache.

I'm heading to the Dominican Republic very soon and I want to know what kind of charges I'd be looking at for data? I have a VOIP solution on my phone - so calling is no issue. Everything would just be data. Should I just plan on not having my phone for a week?

Cheers!

Looks like you may want to make that call...not too sure if you're answers are here for the rates. Or google it. :)

Well, I live in Buffalo. which is literally across the river from Canada, sooooo......

Short answer: If you're using Sprints data, than its a week without your phone. If the D.R. has GSM, head on over to the TP2 forum and unlock your SIM, then once you get to the D.R. buy a local SIM with cheap data.

Data is normally crazy expensive. Something like $1 per 1MB. You should ask so you get up to date prices.
