Cricket/AT&T: This is not a valid wireless device...wth?
I don't know if anyone else has had this problem but if you have or know how to fix it I would love to know!
I have a friend who has AT&T and I have Cricket. For some stupid reason I can't text her OR send her MMS! Everytime I try I get a message stating "123-456-7890 is not a valid wireless device" Thats total bs! She can send ME text/mms and only after she does that can I reply to her...but she has to message me first...wyh? Also she tried to add me to her list of freq called numbers (kinda like myfavs on tmob?) but AT&T didn't recognize MY phone as being a valid wireless device. Too odd! Anyone have any ideas? |
Re: Cricket/AT&T: This is not a valid wireless device...wth?
If she has A-List with At&t, it doesn't have to be a wireless number, it can be any number, so that's definitely weird.
Do you know anyone else with At&t? You can PM me if you want and you can text me since I do. That would tell you if its isolated to her account or a Cricket/At&t thing in general. It might seem stupid, but try doing +11234567899 for the phone number (adding +1 before the area code). Or try just adding a 1 without the +. I don't know anyone with Cricket, so I haven't run into this before. |

Did you guys ever figure this out? I know we narrowed it down to her account since it was working fine for us.
