Bell Samsung Ace (CDMA Blackjack) recover MEID?

Basically following my BlackBerry heritage of installing newer OSs from other carriers without any problems, I used Sprint's WinMo 6.1 installer to upgrade my SPH-i325 from WinMo 6.0 (newest version Bell offers) which enables a lot of features disabled in 6.0 (SDHC, GPS, etc). The install went without a hitch, and the phone runs wonderful under 6.1, but the MEID (similar to an IMEI) is now 00000... and the lock code (used to program the phone onto the network like using a SIM card) is god knows what, rendering the phone unable to be programmed onto Bell's or anybody's network.
So, Does anybody know how to reinstall the MEID (or knows how to reinsatll the IMEI and has reason to believe it will transfer over)?
Or, if I put some sort of Monster ROM on it, will it be possible to reciver the MEID?
Instructions or links to instructions with the number of the post that has the info mentioned would be nice.
Please and thank you.

I would love to know too, I have been considering the Sprint Install, but worried about killing my ACE...

you need the unlock code for the phone. ##unlockcode# on your dial pad, then you re-enter the msid and meid.

Your carrier will usually walk you through re-programing your phone.

Thanks. However the lock code does nothing so I believe it's been wiped also.

Hey Futur, I'm in exactly the same position - dead Ace with zeroed serial. I do know the new security code default but I don't know the settings to enter and I suspect without an MEID (which you can't change AFAIK) you won't be able to get onto the Bell network.

Thoughts?
