Original Blackjack not syncing
 

So I have had my Blackjack for about 6 months now, hundreds of contacts and calendar items in Outlook, but I cannot get the Blackjack to sync. My XP desktop recognizes that it is plugged in and attempts to sync, but it could be connected for hours "syncing" yet nothing happens. I also have a Vista laptop that doesn't even do anything. I have done what I think is everything and I cannot get it to sync.
I also want to upgrade to WM 6.1 for the text aspect.
Can anyone assist me with my problems?

for the syncing issue, have you tried turning off advanced network functionality?

to do this go to start>settings>more>connections>usb and uncheck the box, select done, restart the device, and plug back in
