Updated file with minor fixes. 12/2/09

Here is my first attempt using the new ThemeBuilder 5. I used minor transition effects only. I have tested it on the tour 4.7.1.x but haven't run it for long to see about wear and tear. I made it specifically for myself and b/f surrounding our wallpaper choices, of course you should be able to change that if you want but the layout might not match.

Weatherslot is 7th icon. All icons are user organized... navigation is horizontal wrap both ways, up from ends to weather or profiles, back and forth weather to profile. Oh, and space bar is hot key for QuickLaunch. ... on phone the font for date and apps seems blah so I will rework that tomorrow. I'm done for now!

Lock screen is same wall as home screen...forgot screenie. "Merry Christmas" is the the "lock".

** OTA install files are included in the Zip attached. Simple to install, download/save to memory card on phone, unzip with file scout and click on JAD file (the smallest kb file) and it will go through install process as if you clicked an OTA link.


(icon highlights/buttons come from an edited photoshop file from our friendly WM theme builder (with permission), S2W.

good work brenn. will this work on my phone? i don't have 5.0 :angry7:, not yet anyways!

This works on a 480x360 screen with 4.7.1 ... I don't have 5.0 either. The 5.0 I was speaking of is the version of ThemeBuilder... good thing about this version is it offers more choices, transitions and the skins for the call screens work which didn't work in patched plazmic.

I can repackage it for 5.0 OS if anyone wants as thats just a change in the save file... I'm not sure about other screen/res phones though.. I know an 8900 will work.

Thanks, I am running it now and it seems fast and no hangs. I will update the home screen fonts and a few other simple things I forgot... maybe another hotspot but not too much work since Christmas is around the corner and I won't run the theme that long. I'll see how much work it would be to set up for the curve. Might be a simple import.

OK theme is updated I am replacing the original file in the first post..
changes to date font for clarity. popup menu font for size. and transitions for more fluency. I ran the theme all day and its real fast and smooth. I think this new builder program is great compared to the output issues I had with the patched plazmic..

Same here.... I think that's why I love snowmen.... I never get to really see one.. well, I can always drive to Truckee or Tahoe... but yeah... MOE (my MINI) isn't a snowmobile.
