I heard somewhere 8330 BB's have GPS capabilities blocked for some carriers (us cellular,att) any truth to that?

i the dont the truth of that matter. but i seriously doubt att has gps blocked any of their phone. i never an blackberry with att, dont think they would cripple features. as long as data works on the phone google or blackberry maps should work.

my co-worker just got one i think the (8520,8530) or something like that. sprint sent it to him due to a few service reasons i.e. network, preferred cus 10yrs... bah bah bah...but he got it via mail from customer service...
