Blackberry 9800 : No valid Sim card
Hi,
I received a used-bb 9800 (Vodafone). I need to switch operator (new sim-card from employer) but I receive the message 'No valid sim card' The new sim-card works on other phone. Is my bb 'provider'-locked? or is the phone dead? Thanks for your time to help me. |
Your phone sounds like its not sim unlocked. To see if your sim is unlocked or not, go to Options> Advanced Options> SIM Card. If at the top of the screen it does not say "security disabled", then you'll need to unlock the sim to get it to work on another network.
