[4/09/12] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.9.2

This application is in the beta stages and we will continue to update as we release new versions. Just keep a watch on this thread. BB SAK was built as a JL Cmdr replacement tool with a more friendly GUI. It uses Javaloader to do its magic. I hope that you all will find it as useful as I do. Any thanks post there here in this thread. Also if you post on other sites please use the link provided here, so we can keep count of downloads.

Re: [09/23/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.8.0

Just installed v1.8.0 on Windows 7 64-bit and I can't wipe my BB 9650. Other BBSAK functions seem to work, but when I click "Wipe Device," nothing happens. Any advice?

Re: [09/23/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.8.0

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I just tried to wipe again (going from OS 6 back to OS 5), and BBSAK said that the wipe worked and my BB rebooted, but it seems to have just wiped all data except 3rd party apps. Didn't take me to the error screen from which I can freshly install OS 5.

Re: [09/23/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.8.0

Good deal, cause we are gonna need it as it appears. Plus your Windows 7 & 64 bit right? That would help. I'm making some adjustments and testing. Will get this updated, once I can get the issue figured out. Everything else works perfect, so this is got my scratching my head.

Re: [09/23/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.8.0

Just installed 1.8 on my Win7 64-bit system and it can not find my 9800. BBSAK 1.8 asks for the password, I enter it and then it replys that it can not find a device.

Re: [09/23/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.8.0

Re: [09/23/10] BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife v1.8.0

ChadH42 - Your the first to report this, will look into this and see if we can't get it fixed asap. Keep a watch on this thread.

lombrico62 - The backup feature in v1.7 wasn't the best and sometimes backed up files in shouldn't. The new v1.8 backup should work perfect and only grab 3rd party stuff you have installed.

It works just fine with my test device on windows 7 32 bit with the storm 2. I will install those apps and double check but it appears to work fine for me.

I too can not get 1.8 to recognize my 9700 although 1.7 recognized it without a problem. i would also like to sugest a backup feature that will back up all your custom ringtones and alerts that are assigned to certain contacts.

It won't read my 9700 either. I'm trying to figure out how to wipe my device bc I caught the old JVM Error 102 and I can't wipe it through DM, even through older versions (4.7, 5.0). I was hoping this would help but no luck :( someone help pleeease.

I also already tried JL_Cmder and it didnt read it there either. I'm out of ideas and could use a hand.
