Tour2/Bold2 coming soon?
 

Well, over at Crackberry there is a leaked photo of a Sprint inventory showing the 9650 Bold (what would previously had been labeled Tour2) as being in inventory May 16... course that is without pushbacks as we usually get... hrmmmm I'm wondering if I can convince them to let me upgrade early since they owe me one on my other line due to a mix up on thier part... otherwise its wait til July. My son needs his battered curve replaced.. I told him I'd get the new Tour/Bold and he can have this Tour. We'd both be happy!

Looks like a pretty sweet device. Verizon is supposed to be getting it also sometime in May. I might have to check it out, I've been pretty much a wm kinda guy for along time, but the new wm7 stuff doesn't excite me much, also thinking the current wm 6.5 will slowly fade into oblivion, so returning to a BB might be the thing. I do like the form factor. 8)

Its going to be hard for me to wait for July when I have an upgrade coming. I wonder if I can do some finagaling (sp??) and get my upgrade sooner. Sprint removed an upgrade--marked as used--on one of my lines by mistake (so I say) and I have an email conversation with them acknowledging this and saying need to call telesales to get it switched back on...we'll see if that holds true... when the phone comes out.
I love my Tour, the trackpad can only be better! and my son will get a better phone than his beat up Curve.

Yes, Sprint has officially announced the release, but my upgrade isn't until July, unless I can sweet talk them into restoring the upgrade on my 4th line (which I have been promised they would but who knows when it comes down to it).

Word is verizon will be shortly after but nothing official.

Got it!! I had to be sweet and nice and patient but I was able to get an "exception" and have my July 1 upgrade today! My son will be happy as his old Curve 8330 is on its last legs, he gets my "old" Tour and I get the new Bold! Tues-Thurs for delivery... now I gotta move some $$ around to make the payment stick.. LOL

Congrats! Just curious of what service plan you're on. Some are wondering if it can be activated on grandfathered plan (specifically SERO) w/ $30, $10 or free BIS.

I already had an everything data plan ( family) so no changes. I think if you're already running bb you shouldn't have a problem but I've heard it's hard to convince them to add BIS pack to sero but stick to it they shield do it.

oooh!!! I would love to have you back, I have yet to be reinvited though... :( dang and I'm admin! yes, on the sero plan there is a 10$ BIS "buy up" that you can ask for. I've read of users getting this for free also, depends on where they started from I'd suppose.
