If you choose to install, do so at your own risk and only if you're comfortable in the process of upgrading and downgrading your device software. It is quite normal during operating system development for certain features to be crippled or disabled while others are tested, and these beta builds often reflect that. They are not always better. Depending on your BlackBerry comfort level, it may be best for you to wait for community feedback on a build before deciding to download and install for yourself or simply wait for the next official release. If you require support, you will find it in our CrackBerry forums via our extremely knowledgeable community base - do not contact your carrier or RIM for Beta OS technical support (their first course of action will be to advise you to downgrade to a supported OS). If you disregard time stamps, the only difference between the leaked and the VZW release binary wise is the radio.

might be worth a shot.

if any one wants just the radio i can upload it for you.

It's pretty quirky........... I'm sticking with my 484 hybrid.

i feel like battery life on 591 is a bit better then 484 but the browser click issues suck, but if u run a hybrid with this os its a bit better then stock. but still 484 is the one to beat.

My concern re: 591 is all the "return to service provider" messages. I'm not looking to get that error

I was on it for about 2 weeks and never once got that message, i hope you are deleting the vendor.xml file and best to use it with a hybrid, personally mrbrachts 607 is really good.

eenieMINI what would the advantages of the hybrid flash be? Pardon my ignorance but I've been away from BB's for awhile and just returned to a 9630. Thanks in advance.

Re: New Leaked OS: 5.0.0.591

Well, info box could probably answer better...but basically hybrids weed out the best files of the various builds...some are geared for speed, some for battery life, some for a nice blend. Most are shrunken down of languages and other unused items so they take up less of your space...causing faster boot, better running...

That said some are great on one phone and terrible on the other...same phone/carrier. Some are good for one carrier but not so great on others..some are great all around but for one or two loads....

Best is to research a bit then ask someone on your carrier. Once you start you'll probably end up with a favorite hybrid creator...and follow him. Greatbabout BB it's easy enough to go right back to stock.

Thanks for your reply. I have been researching for several days but just wanted a personal perspective from a user. Thanks again.
