blackberry rebooting

hello blackberry people. i have been a windows mobile user for the last few years ever since i got into smartphones. i have never used a blackberry phone myself. i bought my wife a blackberry curve 8330 for sprint for valentines day. it is her first smartphone. she loves it so far except for the fact that it will randomly reboot itself quite often. she will be in the middle of playing a game on it or doing something and it will get real sluggish and freeze up for a second then reboot on it's own. these things take forever to load up as yall know. is there anything i can do to it to stop this from happening?

I would make sure the OS is up to date. Chances are good it came w/ like 4.6 or an older versoin of 4.7.

Go to blackberry.com and install Desktop Manager. Plug in your phone, and open Desktop Manager, and it will probably find some updates for you to run.
