It's much better than 4.7 in many ways but there are some changes to the interface that players aren't liking. Read up before you switch. Good to see its ready to for download instead of just via DM.

I am sticking with my 419 hybrid for now. I might swap out with a 484 hybrid this weekend if I don't go shopping. LOL

def better then 419...the issue with 419 people dont recognize is the encryption security that 419 uses isnt what sprint uses which is a 128bit and in 419 its 64bit...all what that means is a better working radio, faster and more stable connection to BIS. I def feel a major difference between 419 and 484 especially with a custom hybrid like 12 manys or driphter

im guessing there is no way to wirelessly update? my computer doesnt have enough room for DM.. i have almost 500 gigs of movies and music lol

connect ur BB to desktop manager update from there, it does it OTA.

It is...but sometimes the menus don't go away when you've selected something. For some reason, I have to 2 gmail icons when I change to that theme, but not a default theme. Makes no sense to me! I've removed my e-mail and reset it a number of times.

happened to me with non compatible themes... contact the theme maker and see what he says...SOrry but damn I love 5.0

Then take it to a sprint store, and tell them to update it for you to 5.0...Usually the techs there dont know it exists lol so make sure u tell them to look

I'm running TA's 484 base V9.8.1 He has two versions so you can choose 484 or 419 radio and base.

thats the one im running to on the 484 os, and its super amazing i just love the 9650 media player how songs restart automatically after the ringer goes off, and batt life is insane

are you running the 484 radio too? Do you see the fluctuations in signal? I do but it doesn't seem to mess with my calls or battery, just weird watching the bars come and go... gets me a little dizzy!
