Any way to get it on the home screen?

Nope, not that I know of.

Homescreen seems to be exclusively .xml based. There was a free program that adds a plugin to the homescreen (one line based) that supposedly calculated battery consumption vs. battery life and gives you a estimated time left...

But you'd have to make room on your homescreen and plug in the .xml code to get it.

I didn't think so, but I had to ask. :)

I will have do a search and try that plugin. Thanks :D

how do you make the blife plugin work on the q? i installed, but i cant figure it out. this would be really useful if it worked on the q.

You will need to select the Home Screen it installs or insert it into your exsisting xml theme.

You can read more about it here:

http://www.accosto.com/

It's a bit much for me, and not what I was really looking for.

It's actually not much work, you just have look at the .xml file that it installs and grab the code, then copy that into an .xml homescreen, presumably replacing an existing plugin.

I've done it for couple of screens but I just didn't see a huge need for it. You do need to run it for about 3 days for it to collect enough info to start being useful.

How do you install this? I can't get it to open on my phone.
