Re-Placement launchers for android
 

is there any tried and true aftermarket launchers for android that are smoother than the stock launcher?

i currently use go launcher ex on a sd build of my tp2 and it is plenty smooth but after a few recent updates it has gotten really laggy between screen transitions.

i have just completed a test of the nand omgb build and would like to put a quick launcher on the phone that has a ics theme.

I like ADW.

Zeam seems pretty snappy too.

LaucherPro used to be good... kinda gotten bloated lately IMHO.

There was some other new one I heard about... Can't remember the name right now, but I haven't tried it personally.

ok i will give adw a try.

the other launcher you might be talking about is the new holo launcher which is a ics skined setup and i am going to try that out as well.

i used zeam before, i like it but i prefer default launcher :S yeah I know... but i like it lol


ftl launcher seems to be picking up on what zeam left off, about as quick/light as zeam, a bit extra features. I used ftl for a bit, i like it as well but like default still :S

i have been using holo for this weekend and it is pretty snappy even without the memory clearing options on go launcher, i will install adw and zeam tonight and see what happens.

Trying Holo and Launcher pro ATM Can't decide which I like better yet, LOL.

I been on ez launcher for about a week now, I like it so far. It isn't exactly speedy, but I like how it looks, and the lag is tolerable, takes maybe a fraction longer than the speedier zeam for me
