Screenlock - FRX07 on Verizon Touch Pro2

Hello everyone.

I'm running FRX07 on a Verizon Touch Pro2 and I have an issue with the device coming on in my pocket. Specifically, the red "hang up" button or the top button power button will bring the phone out of sleep and display the lock screen (slide to unlock). However, if you press the windows/menu button, it bypasses the lock and takes you to the home screen.

Is there a way to disable this so you have to slide to unlock? I've pulled it of my pocket a few times and seen it google search for zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz a few times and even make a few pocket phone calls. Thank you.

Hrm, I think you'd have to modify the rootfs...

Let me poke around and see if there's another/better way. Hacking at the rootfs is not really a solution, since every time a new rootfs is out you'd have to change it to be tailored to you... I'll see what I can scare up for you.

Is this the default behavior? I don't remember having this issue when I first installed XDAndriod but I've only installed some games and widget tools so far.

If there's a easy fix, that will work for me. I'm planning to switch to Droid Bionic when it's released in a month or so. I just decided to start playing with this phone until it was released.

lol, then I guess I won't worry about it?

Yes, it is the default behavior. Only way off the top of my head was modding the rootfs. Since you don't really seem interested in keeping this, I'm not going to go thru the effort since the 'feature' doesn't bother me.
