External usb HDD using Android/linux?

If I setup android on a TP2 can it host a usb hub and/or usb HDD?

Just wondering if something like this can happen with the FRX07 build maybe does the trick with System.ext2.

Interesting... no one has ever brought up USB host. I would imagine it wouldn't work, but to be honest I've never tried - I'm also unsure as to whether the hardware is capable.

Why don't you give it a shot? Unfortunately I don't think it will work for you. Let us know what you find, I'd say you're treading in relatively unknown waters. Would be interested to hear the results tho!

apparently they got it working (other threads) but it makes the phone unstable ie usually crashing when you "disconnect" the usb host gizmo (hdd I think they used) so it might be doable.
