i see them as 2 things not 1 for me the fragmentation is seeing some programs not working from device to device where googles own apps dont work for there devices. where you say choice i know what you are saying and i love all the devices.

for anyone else who tries for me at least the third command gave me an error (resource in use or something) but it works anyway !! got the new market installed.
