Uses for TP2 on wifi, with a dead touch screen
My touch screen died and I decided to buy an HD2 rather than get the screen fixed. I have really enjoyed running android on my TP2. This may seem aweful, but I am letting my 7 year old use my TP2. Using the keyboard to navigate, she can use google voice to send texts, and youtube, and some games still work. Any other suggestions for games or apps that would require only wifi and not the touch screen? Thank you guys for the awesome forum, and hard work you guys put in!
Oh yeah, the HD2 is so sweet. |
Re: Uses for TP2 on wifi, with a dead touch screen
there is ways to use an bluetooth mouse on windows mobile, search for it, other then that search for smatphone windows mobile games, and not pocketpc (ppc) version. And you might need to remap 2 keys on your keyboard for the soft right ket and the soft left key
Hope it helps |

Maybe fix the touchscreen? Mine "dies" almost regularly. Sticking my finger nail underneath it to remove dirt that apparently gets stuck in it near the edges seems to fix it.

Thanks for the suggestion. This time my screen is really toast. I have fixed it many times in the past, but now the digitizer section is actually off of the screen. So far my seven year old has just enjoyed using it to text her older sister. Seems like that will be its main use. Pandora and Qik work well enough too. I guess as long as it is still getting used for something I am happy. Thank you guys for the replies.
