Highest score in Quadrant
 

Whats the highest score you guys have gotten in quadrant benchmarks?

I benchmarked mine today on arrrghhhs FRX05 build and got 624

Also benchmarked Froyo x Ginger and got a score of 566

Overclocked to 787mhz stable

i'm oc @ 732mhz, got 559 on frx05 + 3/1/11 kernel/rootfs

I've gotten 764 once. Using one of the FROYO X builds.

Best of 663 with Froyo X and overclocked to 710mHz.

Generally get 560-580 with OC to 748. Supposedly this will vary as to current workload of device as it steps up and down with load.

i dropped in FRX06 (nothing else changed), and got 604!

I'm currently using cherry pie (see my signature) and running at stock speed 528mhz; I get scores in 540-566

it would be interesting to post speed along with the quadrant scores. Quadrant scores can be very misleading because you can get a very high score (over 3000 on a DHD port on my HD2) but the ROM runs like shit, are you guys getting smoothness with the highers scores or is it just numbers that don't mean anything?

IMO the numbers don't seem to mean anything. I've played with different builds that seem smooth as heck without issues and get low quadrant scores and don't see too much of a difference when I get higher ones either. Maybe it's just kinda like an e-penis lol

lol, like any benchmark it's plagued with inconsistency. Look at speed test's app - you'd think that would be some what consistent, but it is anything but on my phone.

Neocore is kinda the same as well. Scores fluctuate all over the place, although there are things you can do that will help get higher scores - X1 and Vogue folk for example figured out how to OC the GPU. Neocore scores all went up, but they were still all over the board ;).

Quadrant... seems more skewed than most. The number is just too arbitrary.

Slightly off topic here but i am comparing it to a TP2 so.......
I have a nook that is running android that is 800 mhz. A quick run of Quadrant gave me a score of 1377. Why is there such a big difference between the two? I am assuming GPU but any ideas?

Yeah, it is the GPU that makes the difference.
