Android apps

Can anyone recommend apps for the following?

1.) MP3 player... I've been trying to find something like Nitrogen for WinMo but can't find anything in marketplace that comes close
2.) App that plays .PLS web streams
3.) Xvid player (not the Chinese one that partially works)... TCMP plays mp3's, xvids, pls streams, etc... do i have to boot into winmo for media playing?
4.) File explorer without ads

All help is greatly appreciated

and a Dialer like Windows Mobile where I can punch in someone's name using the numeric keys. I've found some in marketplace but was wondering if someone can recommend one

I agree... being able to type someone's name from the dialer would be nice!

dialer 2 works as well as dialer one. i like the skinning and feel of dialer 2 though, they are searchable on the market

never used nitrogen, but i like winamp, and it should handle playlists, actually the stock mp3 player in android might handle playlists as well

are you oc'ing your phone in android?? that might be affecting your video playback abilities

thanks. Not OC'ing my TP2. I was having a hard time finding an app that played xvid's well. Didn't even know there was a version of winamp for android. Thanks for letting me know about that as well as Dialer 2. Who is the author of Dialer 2 so I don't download any spyware.

1. I like the MIUI music app a lot, you can get it here.
2. I have never needed it so I cannot help you with this one, sorry.
3. RockPlayer is the best IMHO. It's not free but works great with any Divx, Xvid, WMV, MP4 and so many more types of video files.
4. I use File Expert, which has file explorer, FTP explorer, network explorer and a lot more, all for free!

TV Stream is a cool app, even if it does cost $4. It works flawlessly on my EVO and Samsung Tab.

Thanks. Winamp plays mp3 streams (.PLS) well. Thank you for your recommendations too.
