Yes. But most stuff works for me, that's how I roll...

Pretty sure I fixed this in my rootfs a month or so ago, the headset keymap needs to be present and the autobuild rootfs hides it. Dunno when those guys will merge these fixes.

Maybe. I haven't tried a vanilla FRX06 install in ages, so I'm not sure which of the couple hundred things I've patched since FRX06 is responsible.

The kernel has had support for bluetooth for a couple of months now. I.e., driver level support. The device and driver also need proper firmware; the thread over at XDA just tells how to get the firmware loaded. Beyond that, it's up to the Android userland, which has has had full A2DP/AVRCP support since back in the Cupcake days. From what I've read, it may also depend on which Music player you use, or how many you use. Only one Music app can be set to receive the AVRCP commands, and each app is configured differently. If you have a bunch of different music apps installed, you probably need to remove all but one of them.

OK, yeah, I fixed this in my rootfs a while ago.

xda-developers - View Single Post - F22's Latest Rootfs (Apr 19th, 2011) Highlandsun's RIL Support Patches Merged + More

/system/usr/keylayout/AVRCP.kl gets hidden by the current autobuild rootfs, so none of the AVRCP commands are recognized.

So has there been damage done? or can i use your rootfs and it should be good to go?

Anyone else notice any GPS oddities after the BT fix? Namely when I attempt to use running applications such as Run.GPS or Endomondo, neither will get a good GPS satellite fix now. Just begginging to wonder if the things that plagued WinMo (audio breakup/loss/BT disconnection while tracking using GPS) are cropping up in Android with BT (A2DP) and GPS at the same (albeit the other way around in Android - BT works well, but GPS loses fix).

I haven't tried both at once but it wouldn't surprise me if the radio signals interfere with each other. GPS signals are extremely weak, and the receiver can easily be swamped if the other radios aren't Just Right...

Are you saying with the Bluetooth fix, but with Bluetooth off, you are no longer able to get a GPS satellite fix. If so, just to check, you've run QuickGPS in WinMo right?

Not to hijack this thread..... but I think I found out that my GPS issue isn't related to BT.

I CAN get a GPS fix with BT on and off, but lose it as soon as the phone sleeps and then the program that I'm using won't get a fix thereafter (when I wake the phone back up). Guess I just need to find a keepalive type of app or fix that will allow GPS to stay on even when the phone sleeps.

-update- Found a program named Tracker Booster (keeps GPS alive even when phone is in sleep), just run it after you launch your running app. Okay now no more posts about GPS in this BT thread. :)

FRX07 is awesome! I didn't have to do squat and my BlueAnt X5i A2DP headphones worked. The headphone jack even works too.
