Wirelessly posted (HTC Touch Pro 2: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2.1; en-us; MSM Build/FRX03) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

I have the Verizon TP2 (where the END key is also the power button, and the top button is only for the screen). I've been using Android on this phone, but on the 11/22 build, I have no button to go to the home screen. The top button turns off the screen, and the END key also turns off the screen. I have to hit the BACK button to go to the home screen, and this is SUPER annoying especially if I've been browsing the internet. I have to go back through every single page I visited.

How can I have a button that goes directly to the home screen?

Have you tried using spare parts, setting end button behavior to go to home? It works on the rhod400 but not sure about vzw's.

Spare Parts is a program that should already be listed under your programs but if it isn't then it can be downloaded from the marketplace.

It fell back all the way to page 3, but there's already a thread on this. Here's another thread on xda-devs on the same topic, different approach.

Double clicking either the home button takes you straight back to the Home page on the newer versions of our software. Or it could be the Back key. I'm in Windows mode now so I can't confirm which key it is.
