Is this worth a try or is it too unstable for primetime at this point? I'm oh so tempted...

I loaded up the Neopeek version just to give it a test drive.

Definitely "feels" snappier. Phone works, market/browser works. Didn't try much else (it was almost 1am, had to be up at 6am for work).

Gonna play some more today if things stay quiet in the office. :twisted:

Runs alright man. it's like the janky froyo builds again lol awesome but force close hear n there n reboot sometimes

on another note, it would be very pleasant to have a sense ui gingabred one day. but this seems to be quite the endeavor...

Ok I downloaded it but when I look in the zip, I dont see a module and some of the other familiar elements. Do I merge this with something else? A quick step-by-step post might be e helpful to avoid future questions like this one. TIA

Go find Tiad8's thread (probably near the top of this forum), he's re-worked the Neopeek build to include the latest video and gralloc stuff along with a fairly stable version of the zImage/modules.

He even posted a couple video walk-thrus for people not used to the Neopeek distro setup.

It is a definite step up from the Alpha2 release from Neopeek.
