I'd venture to bet no... placebo & other factors are involved here.

I didn't do the battery trick or let it go to sleep and I was still able to get it running smoothly as tiad7. The one thing I noticed is that I had to launch haret manually. When I used the Xandroid utility, it was very sluggish; not sure what's the issue there. Yeah, the 3d files, gralloc, kernel, moduless, etc that tiad7 posted in the other thread make up a very fast and stable android performance and experience, the fastest I have seen. Smooth as butter. I'll see if I and package a full set using tiad7's files with my modded ext2 image (embed his 3d drivers, gralloc, etc) and make it available for others to try out.

I'd like to try that out if you upload it. Also thanks for the tip to manually Haret.

OK, I finally got one of my "free" file servers to work :). The all-in-one package is up in tiad8's original thread located here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/tp2-androi...ml#post2017935
