New Google Market

Do I have to manually download the new google market to have the carrier tab? Or should it download automatically.

Has it been officially released/pushed? I thought even native Android devices had to install it manually, and it was still causing a lot of FC's - even on native phones.

I have an Eris that has the Verizon tab instead of downloads. Downloads is opened by the menu button and a click. It wasnt always this way so I assumed a update was pushed to the phone. Now the overall look of the market is the same just a verizon tab was added. Maybe what I am seeing on the eris isnt an update.
