Holiday Donation for Android to TP2 developers

Hello Everyone,

I am making it easy for all of us without any developing skills to thank the guys working on porting the android platform onto the TP2, I think that they truly deserve something for their hard work ...Below are the donation links to some of the developers working on this project.

I am not even sure if this is a good idea but who knows.

Maybe Arrrghhh would know, but I thought jonpry, phh, and a few others shared the donations from the XDAndroid site. Maybe I'll jump on there tomorrow and check if nobody has a definitive answer.

Also, a couple other things. ACL's link should be https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...=Y8RGAN4VEEV2Q

If you are donating through PayPal, at least make sure it is withdrawing from a checking account or PayPal will pretty much eat the majority of your donation.

And because I hate PayPal, everyone should check out Dwolla as an alternative to PayPal. :) It gives you a nice landing page and only takes $0.25 of the donation regardless of the amount. Here's an example of the donation page: https://www.dwolla.com/u/?u=812-665-5612

Edit: One downside is that Dwolla is open to US residents only at this time. All money transferred is stored in FDIC and NCUA backed accounts until transfers to the user's accounts are made, and they can only offer that in the US right now.

I agree, however some of them do not show a donation link.

If you have the link, can you please post it?

Thank you very much!

No need to donate to me, I don't do much :p

Honestly. I'd much rather see the donations go to the general XDAndroid project, where they can be split amongst devs, pay for hosting fees for the sites, etc.
