contact widgets wont work
 

i installed 3 or 4 different widgets so i can have my fav contacts on one of my home screen s but none of them work at all.. the widget installs and im able to put it on home screen but, depending on which widget i use, is says loading and never loads or doesn't seem to do anything.. i have messed with the options to use all contacts, faves, starred and everything else.. same results.. anyone know what i am suppose to do?

Well without knowing what widgets you're trying, I have no clue.

Keep in mind, this project is in testing. Don't expect it to behave like a native Android phone does - it may never, who knows.

If you are trying to use the contacts widget from launcher pro, that is part of the full version which you must pay for.

ok well i tried using Scrollable contactwidget, contactwidget, quick contact widget, and favorite contact free.. they work fine on my sisters stock hero, but my brother tried using scrollable contactwidget on his droid1 and his did the same thing mine did, nothing.. if anyone has a people widget that is working for them let me know what it is so i can see if it will work for me.. thank you

i am using launcher pro (which came with it) what are you guys using?

Well LauncherPro comes with BLAZN, but there's a paid version of Launcher Pro as well. Launcher Pro Plus or something...

so for my people widgets to work i have to download launcher pro plus??? sounds silly to me

Evidently you need to pay to use LauncherPro's contact widget function... Why would it be silly to pay for something with advanced features? It's how they make money on quality applications, and are able to make more...

Such is life in the big city. If you want the widget that badly, a few bucks is worth it.

i dont mind spending a few bucks on an app but thing is all these other apps dont work and they dont say anything about needing to upgrade launcher and my sister has the apps working on her phone and she has not paid for launcher pro plus
