hardware key mapping

so im diggin the android port on my phone BUT the key mapping seems to not have been adjusted for use with a tp2.. what im wanting is the power button and the end call button to switch functions.. i have looked around on ppcgeeks but have only found one post in a thread explaining how to do this but im a noob and dont get what they were talking about lol

Re: hardware key mapping

The top button is now the "turn screen off" button but you can make the End Call button go back to the homescreen.

Go into the Spare Parts application and change the end call button behavior to act like the home button.

Re: hardware key mapping

sounds like you don't have the latest version running on your phone... as of about 2 weeks ago the latest version has the top button being the "screen off" button.

might want to upgrade since there are a bunch of other fixes as well...

Did you uh... somehow miss this thread? It goes thru the process to revert the home/power buttons.
