Check it out. I am waiting to see if it would work on our TP2 android 2.2. I think they are coming out tomorrow.

8pen

Today’s the day, folks. We enjoyed a lengthy, healthy discussion about 8pen last night, and it’s now available for download.

Just checked out on their website. I cant see trying to use this one. I thought Swype was a bit extreme.

awwwwww, idk what to think about that. I know i should try it (which i will) before formulating an opinion, but that seems like a god awful idea. haha, now i feel like one of those people that claim that swipe is the worst idea ever. I like swipe, because its intuitive. Not sure how this can claim to be intuitive if we are now using semicircles to decide which letter to write on a keyboard that has the letters jumbled (compared to what 100% of us are used to). Kinda seems like the old 9 button multitap system, but with semicircles lol.

Yea dude I agree after watching that video... Looks very NOT intuitive. It may be one of those things tho, once you get used to it you can type superfast? Dunno. Swype seems pretty freakin fast to me, but I never could figure out how to see what my finger was stopping on :p

Either way, I think it's a big mistake they're not offering some sort of trial... I mean it is only a $1.58, and I'm sure that's what they're depending on - people shrugging at that amount of money and just buying it and not caring if they hate it haha.
