Andboot issue
 

I found and booted to XDandroid froyo 2.2 it was good but i found I didnt have file explorer. I found that I need to go to the android market on my phone and download one. It was okay when I went to settings -> Wireless -> Wifi and found that my wifi doesnt want to connect any network. It just says scanning...unable to scan...The application settings(process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly.
And it was all the times. I tried soft and hard reboot - nothing.
I found some issues by downloading backup apps but I cant install them because I dont have explorer, wifi and cannot view my SD files.
The wireless should work on this build, I also have a wireless connection at home - It doesn't matter if it is WEP or WPA for me because it cannot find ANY network not only at home.
My friend has got the same phone and same build and same settings but he is running everything normally even wi-fi.
So if you can solve this problem just reply.

Mobiletel is a cdma or gsm network? If it is cdma, try removing the sim card.

if he is cdma it shouldn't do anything with the sim in the phone. no calls, wifi, ect.

I don't know. It is probably a GSM network. I mean it is a mobile operator.
I'll try removing my SIM card.

Absolutely correct. You bonly have problems with wifi? Sounds like the reference build if there is no file explorer. Did you update the modules/zimage? That might have caused the wifi issue. Out of the box, everything should work. Try installing again.

thought you couldnt use WEP with wifi on XDAndroid????

try not setting a key.. or WPA even... i swear i thought i read WEP was the issue when not seeing networks.... someone correct me??

Nope, you're right Bored, it's written all over the place, WEP doesn't work. I personally would try reformatting the sd card, and re d/l' the cab or rar file and start from scratch without adding anything, until everything is confirmed working, then start tweaking from there.
