Bible app wants access to my phone calls
 

I was going to download a bible app from olivetree.com when it finished downloading i was going to click install but i noticed that the app wants access to the internet, my sdcard, and my phone calls

Why does it need access to my phone calls?

Just a guess but internet would be necessary for update checking and pulling content. SD for storage of the aforementioned content. Phone calls would be if the app has a suggest or invite function, it would have to have access to your contacts to send message recommending. If its asking for phone status then it may be checking to see if a call is active before it tries to check for updates. All just guessing of course or it could be Satan setting you up. :)
