I thought we had Froyo?
 

I thought we had Froyo on our TP2. I was trying to update to the new Gmail (which only works on Froyo), but it says I don't have it. My phone says Android version 2.2 (which is Froyo). So what's the problem?

That's strange. I'm running FRX01 Froyo reference, updated Gmail from the marketplace fine.

Oh, I'm still running 8/27. I was waiting for another update because I read there is an issue with the FRX01.

The so-called 'blazn' build has an issue... Reference is fine.

On the old 8/26 Blazen. Advanced Task Killer to kill Gmail. Use Root Explorer to delete the Gmail.apk under /system/app. Install fresh from Market.

I had to do that. Otherwise update kept failing.

does wifi tethering work? on mines it says error.
