New install, android keeps rebooting phone
So I just installed the newest version. I made sure I deleted the andboot folder and the "android" folder from my sd card before doing the installation. Now, when I run the startup utility, half the time the startup.txt file is empty (automagically). I then replace it with a fresh copy of startup.txt but then when it does boot, the unlock screen comes up and when I try to unlock, the phone just reboots. Any ideas?

+1
Having the exact same issue on the 8/30 build. Re-downloading the .cab, formatting the SD card, deleting the overclock string in the startup.txt, etc... all don't seem to fix the issue Any help out there on this one? |
Re: New install, android keeps rebooting phone
check your startup.txt theres a code in there hdw3d (i belive) if theres a 1 next to it thats the issue. change it to 0 and make sure there a sapce between the 0 and " so it should look something like hdwa3d=0 "

Re: New install, android keeps rebooting phone
this is same thing was happening to me when i installed it. so not even remembering that i still had it installed, i placed the phone on the charger over night. the next morning figured i'd try to run it again and it worked. i think it helps to have a full charge on the phone prior to use so that android doesn't think you're booting up with a low battery level. just my experience.
