With newest build my phone will drop calls and then No signal??? UScellular
 

I will be on a call and all of a sudden the call drops or it resets android to load screen both times after this happens it has no signal then it cant find anything its like the radio is just off or something...not in airplane mode either only a full reset of the phone to windows and back will fix it

For what it's worth I'm on Verizon and on the 8/30 "Reference" version. It did that once to me and I passed it off as a fluke as it's not done it again.

i had that problem alot and it was driving me crazy i downgraded to 2.1 and upgraded the zimages and other things, and now i have had it only happen 2 times when i over loaded the phone try doing that

I've noticed that sometimes when I adjust the volume, the phone drops the signal and there is an X where the signal bar is momentarily.

yeah but when it happens with mine it doesnt come back....i cant rely on android because its a crash that just doesnt recover

I have same problem. I have also adjusted volume while in call (too loud) but can't remember if that was the case each time it dropped the call.

The bummer is I have to reset each time.

once more move to a older bulid i have had it happen to me 2 times after i moved to the older bulid and that was like 3 days ago....and it only happens when i really overload android go grab the 2.1 .rar update the files and you will be all good

I would NOT overclock Android on the TP2, at least the RHOD400.
I am on US Cellular, and have tried multiple ROMS and reference and BLAZN android, and can confirm (in my situation) that the reference Froyo works like a charm, and I can make calls, market, etc. and no lock ups and no reboots.
I am now on the latest USCC Stock (the one with the 3G Radio update) and running the CAB FROYO reference, and it is working quite well.

Just my $.02.
