Almost there!

inally sound works! Im using the latest 8-30 Xandroid and works well but its sluggish more than ever. Its less responsive and more jerky all around. And I also noticed the apps that worked before now crash. A good example is "Blowup". So my question is, which Android build is the smoothest with less crashing? And I know the tp2 GPU has not been unlocked with any of the current android ports but I am sure that out of all the build one must be the best. Can you smarties point me to the best one out there? And link it here for us all who dont have the time to try thekm all. Thank you a million times. Btw.. the 1.6 port had the GPU fully working on the TP1 so its a matter of time before it gets unlocked for us with tp2. And please donate to the xda guys who have made the impossible the p0ossible! They are amazing! I donated 40 dollars myself for the audio fix and wish I could give more but I will hold back until the gpu is fully unlocked properly. And I am also aware that the gpu is unlocked but for some reason its not 100% efficient for some reason. Has something to do with 1.6 and 2.1, 2.2 difference. thxs!

Ok... looks like we are all having the same issue.

But still, if anyone knows of a better faster build, please share.

I can direct you to a less sluggish, less process crashing build, but you do understand that you will lose the sound capabilities. The only Kernal that crashes less often and runs a little quicker, with sound, is the first build that sound was enabled in, but that build has almost constantly, background noise and distortion coming out of the speaker.
and while you may not find that too annoying it is also a major drain on the battery.

New build.

No hiss and less crashes but still a few here or there.

Click on this link,

the top one on the page is the latest kernal build, which "coolsilver" claims is more stable. The kernal ending with the code 132519 is the first kernal with sound.

Extract and rename zImage... to just zImage and replace that and the kernal file with the one's in the andboot folder in your sd card.
