unable to install cab file
When I started messing around with putting android on my phone about a month ago I was able to install any of the cabs that were available on the project android site and everything seemed to go fine, but recently the cabs i downloaded from there started telling me it was unable to install and gave no reason why.
I'm running energy rom 23569 july 1st edition and was just wondering if anyone else had this problem or not. I'm not saying it's energy just trying to figure out wth is going on. |
Re: unable to install cab file
Happened to me only on the sense build, I just use the .rar's, so much simpler and easier to fix if anything goes wrong or missing

so your ROM shouldnt matter.. you did put these things are your SD Card though right? |
Re: unable to install cab file
yeah everything from the xdandroid project is installed to the sd card I ended up just doing it via the rar files instead of the cab files.
So now I can get android to boot and got a working version of dualboot to work with the xdandroid version, I can get it to actually boot into android but almost instantly after android boots up to the lock screen it resets the phone. It could be the newest version that was posted on the project android site, I think i'm going to try the last version again... |
Re: unable to install cab file
Newest version (cab) seems to work for me. Downloaded it last night, and also running the 7/21 Energyrom 6.5.3 build.
Are you running the Blazn build? try turning the OC speeds down |
