Do you need 2 SD cards for two OSs?

when I am in droid I can't seem to access the SD card, and when I used Linda Manager app it says the SD card is removed. If I try to take the SD card out while in droid... it freezes up the phone completely.

I had to reformat the SD card in order to get the latest build to work, I don't know if that is relevant but throwing it out there.

try downloading astro file manager on the market and using it to access the memory card.

Thanks that one is able to see what's on the SD card.
