Is there a completely new to HTC phones in general thread?
Once I get past the very basics of how all of this is suppose to work I am sure I can get this down, but so far I don't see any beginner guides threads in these pages.
step 1 DL CAB - Android v2.2 Froyo: BLAZN step 2 Extract CAB - Android v2.2 Froyo: BLAZN is it suppose to be a .cab file at that point or just ALL the files within? If it is suppose to be a .cab file what are the steps for doing that? That's my first hurdle, when I got coreplayer it was a .cab I have more, but figure I'll post more if I run into more issues instead of asking everything I don't know then it all work once I actually initially install this thing correctly. |

A cab is a self extracting archive. To install, navigate to the cab location with file explorer and tap on the file. The installation will start. Install to the SD card, not the device. Once the installation is finished, soft reset, then look for the Project Android icon in your start menu.

Re: Is there a completely new to HTC phones in general thread?
Since I accidentally posted this thread here, but now having a working Droid OS on my phone, and am completely new to all things droid...
What are the key best features of this OS, what are some must have apps, and just feel free to in as much detail as you want explain what you like about this OS. I am new to WM and Droid, and from my perspective the droid OS does seem to "feel" better but can't really put my finger on it. I want to say it is closer to my ipod touch in the way it feels, but in a good way. edit: one thing for sure is that the droid's app store kills what I was seeing on the WM side |
