Froyo 2.2 won't sync contacts to Facebook
 

I'm unable to sync my contacts to my Facebook account. When I go to sync, gmail is checked, I am allowed to select Twitter and corporate but not Facebook.

Anyone else having this problem or come up with a fix ?

ditto. I was hoping to merge conects and have the profile picture update. now my gf's picture is from my exchange account which was from 5 years ago.

Its a bug from Facebook's end, there is a fix for it using adb, but I don't think that would work for us.. I just use this app called SyncMyPix, or something like that, I just search for syncmy and it comes up, its a good app and it syncs Facebook pics with contacts of the same name, out of my 100 some contacts it only sync'd one persons pic wrong but everything else seemed to be fine.. It was better than having no pic at all

It worked for me at first, then I did a fresh install and it kept on saying that some other info was on my pics or something, I just kept pressing update and then it worked, no idea why lol

I used this apk file, unistalled facebook from ur phone and install this apk it is now showing on my accounts as synced!

I have the contacts now, but the pictures did not update... Any ideas?

for the pics i downloaded simple app works great...syncmypix is in the android market

What's funny is I just saw a woman at the Sprint Store who had the same problem...with an actual EVO.
