i have probs with the market too but my sprint tp2 is inactivated right now.. could that be the reason why it doesnt work?

No, I access the market through my wifi connection. Its faster than Sprint data at home. Weak signal.

1. Can you get to internet pages through the browser?
2.. Any errors that you can provide? what does it look like when it doesn't work?
3. Are you trying through your carrier's data connection? Are you trying through Wifi? If you have tried through your carrier, can you try to connect to Wifi and try again?

have this same problem, im using wifi and i can browse via internet explorer, but everytime i press market, i receive:
ATTENTION, a server error has occured. Retry or cancel and return to the previous screen, but my wifi is working properly, i am able to browse etc.

Are you guys using the Sense build of Android 2.1? The market wouldnt work for me at all with that build, in fact it crashed the phone every time i tried searching within the market. As soon as I tried the AOSP build, it works flawlessly.
