How do I update to a new build(via rar file) and keep all of my info?
I hate having to redownload apps and setting up programs.

try backing up your data.img file in your android root directory.

I would not do this when there are substantial build changes, but for whats going on right now, probally ok.

Since you just installed the new build, were you able to get phone service working. I followed all the steps but I could not make any call. It said " No Service". Please advise.

do you have your sim card in? maybe leave that out if you're cdma/sprint/verizon.
sometimes the forcecdma=1 does not work.
