Nevermind I guess. The batt change code was the only thing needed. Really it was your recalc of batt temperatures. the phone thought the battery was WAY TOO HOT and shut the phone down. your code has been submitted and patched into the autobuild as of today! TP2 owners rejoice because we work again with auto-built kernels!!!

I have noticed that final build located on the following link: "http://sites.google.com/site/androidport/downloads" is not including the "Battery Meter and Temp reading Fix (workaround)".

Can any body help me find out how to install this workaround on the latest release "Android v2.2 Froyo, 9/16, FRX01"

The kernel has had this workaround for at least a month. It's already in the latest releases.

They are however working on an actual solution though.

Great mod battery seems to control better, but lose wifi & sound with this zimage.

Sorry arrrghhh...I've kinda set up camp on XDA and only come back here these days when I'm looking for a CDMA WinMo ROM...I wasn't sure how often the android dev forum was getting updated here for the TP2.
