Getting No Service

I am trying to learn how to load Android on my TP2 with Sprint and I actually have it installed correctly. The only problem I am running in to is I have no Sprint service. I am obviously missing something. Would someone be willing to point me in the right direction?

Thanks

If your sim card is in...It needs to be taken out!

I have done some reading and I saw where it said to remove the sim card. I did and I still have no service. Not sure what the problem might be.

Hmmm...I had no service but it was due to me having my sim card in. But I honestly dont use Android because I cant get the full capabilities of an Android phone.

Anywho..Hope u find a solution to that problem!!

Add htc_hw.force_cdma=1 somewhere inside the quotes following the line "set cmdline"

oops, I mean in your startup.txt file

Re: Getting No Service

Reef's release has a loader that allows you to check the force cdma option each time you start android from windows which eliminates the startup.txt editing, just incase you arent comfortable editing the file. Otherwise, force cdma, make sure sim is removed, and check to see what airplane mode is turned off. To do this, once android is loaded, hold the end call button (bottom right) down until a menu pops up, airplane mode on/off is one of the options in that menu.

Enjoy.

Thank you very much everyone here, you guys are amazing. By following all the above instructions, I was able to get phone service and tried out, it works great. However, Android for tp2 need to get more things done by developers. There is no hardware sound, but phone communication is fine. Hoping to see the working Android on tp2 soon.
